3 best John Green books

Youth narrative is one of the most ebullient genres of new authors with fresh voices and attractive proposals for readers eager for vital and vital stories. The first youth books carry considerable weight in shaping the reader of tomorrow. So authors like John Green they are always interesting in that transmission belt function towards adult readers.

That said, I do not intend to detract from the youth narrative. That same boiling of authors mentioned above is a stimulus for publishers and authors determined to conquer a market of loyal readers, with free time to dedicate to reading and critics like no other when it comes to discovering a good or bad story.

In other words, if John Green has earned recognition and sales, it will be for a reason. However, sometimes an author of juvenile narrative, as John Green was labeled, ends up deserting even temporarily to discover himself with other types of very interesting works ...

A thousand times forever

I think that in Green's case, the fact that the trade is won over time is perfect for him. Recently I reviewed this, which is his latest novel.

Summary: John Green he knows a lot about that necessary intensity, positioning his live plots always at the top of his sector. In the case of the book A Thousand Times Until Always, the title itself contributes that excessive intensity, that intention of transmitting a proposal with a marked moving intention.

But in addition to emotions and feelings, of which there is a lot in this plot. The story moves like an authentic adventure towards the discovery of an enigma.

An enigmatic disappearance of a guy lined with millions leads young Aza and Daisy in search of the escapee. During their investigations they will find Davis, the billionaire's own son. A unique triangle that stands out for the enhancement of friendship, of that special synergy that is generated when friendship is still fully authentic ...

Looking for Alaska

It's fair to acknowledge that first novel that hits the spot. To get to it, it is to be imagined that John Green would erase a multitude of pages, propose a diversity of scenarios, seek that empathy with the young reader, both in language and in his particular world. Once the spring was activated with this first great novel, the rest would come rolled.

Summary: Before: Miles watches his life go by without emotion. His obsession with memorizing the last words of famous people leads him to want to find his Great Maybe (as François Rabelais said just before he died). He decides to move to Culver Creek, an unusual boarding school, where he will enjoy freedom for the first time and meet Alaska Young.

Beautiful, cheeky, fascinating and self-destructive Alaska will drag Miles into her world, push him into the Great Maybe and steal his heart ... After: Nothing will ever be the same again. Looking for Alaska is the debut novel by John Green, author of Under the same star, With which he won the recognition of readers and critics overnight.

Miles, a young man seeking his destiny, and Alaska, a girl lost in the labyrinth of life, face timeless questions: what does our existence mean? Can we lead a full life after living an unsolved tragedy?

Bajo la misma estrella

This is the novel that has gained the most followers among readers of all kinds of genres. A kind of resilience floods everything. If young or less young readers manage to get excited about this novel it is because good old John has led them to the deepest drama and the kind smile of which he hopes that all is not lost.

Summary: Emotional, ironic and sharp. A novel tinged with humor and tragedy that speaks of our ability to dream even in the most difficult circumstances. Hazel and Gus would like to have more ordinary lives. TO

Some would say that they were not born with a star, that their world is unfair. Hazel and Gus are only teenagers, but if the cancer they both suffer has taught them anything, it is that there is no time for regrets, because, like it or not, there is only today and now.

And for this reason, with the intention of making Hazel's greatest wish come true - to meet her favorite writer - they will cross the Atlantic together to live an adventure against the clock, as cathartic as it is heartbreaking. Destination: Amsterdam, the place where the enigmatic and moody writer resides, the only person who may be able to help them sort the pieces of the enormous puzzle of which they are part ...

  1. Hello Juan: First of all, cordial greetings and then let you know that the LUPA (Author Search Engine) does not work. It is a pity because its operation provides tremendous agility and a wonderful experience with your page.
    Sincerely.

    • Hi Manolo.
We have recently changed the search system. Before it was an option that was shown in the header and now it is the magnifying glass of the menu. It works for me on multiple devices. Clicking on it makes the entire menu bar available for writing and with the cursor to the left to type.
Thanks for the warning, I'll look at more devices to see if this problem is reproduced.

      Greetings.
      John.
