It had been 8 years since I published my previous book. One spring night in 2024, I started writing again. I had one of those thriving ideas that was demanding to be released, more intensely than ever.
Since then I have been discovering that the nights still have muses. While everyone was sleeping, this writer felt like he was the confessor of characters and creator of scenarios, plots, subplots, possible twists, parallel lives... We must put order and concert among the chaos of the muses. But the idea has always been there like a clear horizon. And that has been incredibly cool.
Writing again has been like riding a bike again and discovering, fascinated, that I still know how to pedal. Feeling like a writer after so many years has turned out to be one of those well-worn catharsis. Because I had never stopped writing, especially on this blog or creating stories that have been forgotten. But putting yourself in front of a novel is recovering your "craft." So it only remains for you, the reader, to be encouraged by this case.
In the end one is made of what one eats. And lately the noir genre has been my most frequent reading menu. From Joel dicker even JD Barker or Javier Castillo. Police plots or outright black ones. The Google Maps killer is closer to the police, to the deduction and surprise, to the unexpected twist, to the murderer and his ingenious modus operandi.
And so it has remained throughout the three installments that ultimately make up the whole of the work. Because what began in spring was concluded in autumn. 6 months to close this dark trilogy.
About the plot, the characters and so on, I would love to comment on details here. But it's better to talk about it once you've read it. If you feel like it, tell me here.
