The books in search of that positive self always arouse misgivings even in those who subscribe this post. It seems that the reluctance comes from the interpretation of a book of this type as an intrusion into very own plots, or a surrender, an assumption of defeat in the arduous task of being happy.
That is why when I found a book by Santandreu at home I took up the controversial topic with my partner about our different perspective on authors such as Bucay o Paulo Coelho. And since deep down it leaves me as impossible, because in the end he knows that I always go around these writers to see what they have to say, he simply read it and left it there, in case I wanted to take a look.
And I certainly threw it at him. Starting with that critical point of view, on the defensive as so many times. But the art of Rafael Santandreu It is not to sell you a motorcycle, but to tell you that useful psychological notion, (like the one in Allen Carr's quit smoking book, which served me for a decade)
So it never hurts to lose yourself to any of the Santandreu booksIt is only psychology and behind the wall of each one, deep down we may be in need of that reencounter with the most positive self.

Be happy in Alaska
How not to be happy in Alaska? I started thinking by turning the matter around. At first it evoked that series of slow pace, entertaining but deep at the same time: "Doctor in Alaska." The question was to start with the first book of Santandreu sharpening any detail.
Then I continued with that kind of exemplification and explanation of what we are and what we end up being when we are mediated by day-to-day problems. Psychology is the art of unveiling the trompe l'oeil of the subjective when it rises dark over a reality loaded with many other possibilities. Undoubtedly, to one degree or another, we are all identified by the patterns that Santandreu marks in this book. The question is to know how to try the change if it touches, how to learn to listen to ourselves moving away from our own noise.
Nothing is so terrible
What is it that torments you? What is the worst that can happen to you, that you die? Well friend, that is something that will always happen, so if you can, do not anticipate it by dying in life.
Worrying is another petite death far more unpleasant than the one referred to by the French term. Preparing is 50% of solving approachable problems, the other 50% is dealing without procrastination whenever possible. Cognitive psychology analyzes us from that balance between reason and emotions, between tasks to be undertaken and the foci from which we undertake them. The more balanced that scale is, the more attainable any task will be.
And in the second instance, no less important, the firmer that balance, the easier we can park fears and complexes. Because I insist, the worst thing that can happen to you is that you die and that will happen of course, but do not anticipate it. Dialogue with yourself, analyze, agree between these two rational and emotional forces. If there is no consensus, think that nothing is really that terrible because you are not going to die for it.
The glasses of happiness
I have been wearing glasses from 4,5 or 6, paraphrasing Quevedo, so this title sounded like sarcasm to me. But since I was… Joking aside, we all have our own lenses to reflect one or the other colors.
And it does not change from looking at blue or green to gray ... From the outside we always contemplate someone and think "what a desire to make life bitter." The question is that of seeing the straw in another's eye and not perceiving the beam in one's own. How easily we discover the fatal attitude that prevents others from being happy and how impossible it is for us to discover our own distorting lenses. But of course, we have to defend our fears.
Yes, I have said well, "defend our fears" to justify that, the fears that limit us. What if there was a method or at least ideas to end them? We could come to think then, observing ourselves: "I want to make my life bitter" Lose fears, free ourselves, dare to seek happiness where before there was only tension and anxiety.

The method to live without fear
The method for the cure. The character tendencies marked by the psychological start from the abandonment of the will and its tools that make up that method. Perhaps there is no guide for each one, but there are references from others as a reference from which to relaunch.
Since the publication of Without Fear and his famous four-step method, Rafael Santandreu began to collect wonderful stories of overcoming anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and hypochondriasis on his YouTube channel. Today these testimonials exceed one hundred (and continue to rise).
The method to live without fear collects a selection of these testimonies, the steps that its protagonists took and the difficulties they encountered on their path of healing. These are young and old of all kinds (doctors, businessmen, students...) who have in common having done the most powerful personal development work that exists. This selection of stories, together with my explanation of the method and of each particular case, has a powerful intention, to convince you of something that everyone repeats: "If I could do it, you can too."
Their success is something that they and only they achieved, and that is how they explain it to you on these pages and in the associated YouTube videos. There is no cheating or cardboard in what they did to recover. Just a lot of effort, a very clear method and perseverance in abundance. The exit is there, at your fingertips.
Without fear
Our fears are also somatized, no doubt. Really everything is somatized, the good and the bad. And the road is an endless loop back and forth. Because of emotion we make internal physical sensation. And from that uncomfortable feeling that we generate ourselves from fear we can get to cancel ourselves in a strange mechanism where we need to put our consciousness aside, blocking it if necessary to justify the will not to do ...
"Fearless" is the ultimate method. Anyone can put it into practice by following the instructions and, of course, without taking drugs. Prepare to become the best version of yourself: a free, powerful and happy person.
Is it possible to live without fear? Of course. Hundreds of thousands of people have reconfigured their brain thanks to this method, backed by hundreds of scientific studies. Four clear and concise steps will allow us to completely overcome even the most acute fears: Anxiety or panic attacks, Obsessions (OCD), Hypochondria, Shyness or any other irrational fear.
